Vincent de Kort developed a reputation as one of the finest Mozart conductors and has been widely respected for his period-style and very dramatic interpretations of the works from the classical period. Today he combines his love for Beethoven, Haydn and Schubert with his passion for the romantic as well as contemporary repertoire. He loves to work with living composers but, during his studies with Ilya Musin in St Petersburg, he also developed a very strong connection with the Russian repertoire.
